Castillo de San Felipe del Morro
This is Castillo de San Felipe del Morro, a famous landmark located in Old San Juan. It was named after King Phillip II of Spain and used to protect the island from intrusion. El Morro is the most known and most popular tourist destination of Puerto Rico. The structure of El Morro was built over a 400 year process and was added on more thoroughly. AN estimated 2 million people visit El Morro each year. There is about 70 acres of land that El Morro occupies! You can also take tours around the castle, which is always fun! Inside, you are able to find the historical landmark just as it was most likely when it was in use. You can walk around freely to your comfort or take a tour guide, but personally, it is more fun to walk freely!
Mosquito Bay (Vieques)
Mosquito Bay (Vieques) is a favorite tourist spot. At night, the 700,000 bioluminescent dinoflagellates emit a sort of blue glow at night.
Calle del Cristo
Old San Juan is made up of restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques. Old San Juan is right outside of San Juan and has some of the most oldest landmarks of the island. It also is the home of El Morro. This town has many places to visit and has a wide variety of shops.

Cruceta del Vigia
The current cross pictured above was built in 1983, in replacement of the two tree trunks that were put there in order to watch out for incoming ships. They were both used in order to warn of intruders or merchants and which port they were coming into! Now, you are able to take an elevator up to the very top and enjoy the spectacular view of the Caribbean sea!
Museo Castillo Serralles
This home/museum was originally owned by a famous rum and sugar cane producing family. It was built in 1926 and the house was refurnished to look as it did in the 1930s. Some famous movies have been shot there such as Princess Protection Program starring Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. It has a lot of history and the sighting is simply beautiful!
